Not sure if this is a [bug] or not but this weird problem has just manifested itself in the last few days.

UseBB 1.0 RC2 was updated a few weeks back and has been working fine. We have a Blue Star for a red topic and Pink Star for a New (active) Unread topic. Over the last few days, the status of the thread will not change for me or others. I use Firefox 1.5.0.4 but have also tried (with the same result) using MS IE6.

What could be causing this? Like I said, it was working fine after the upgrade. I will upgrade to RC3 soon, but have to consider Mods as I upgrade.

Anyone?

I highly suspect mods are the cause of this. Have you tried this with an unmodded forum?

No, I have not tried this with an unmodded forum unless I create another forum to test because I cant mess with a 'live' forum.

The MODS are only graphical, no change in code whatsoever. You can see here http://radiochickforum.nzcool.com. The changes are blue to pink, with forum headings in white. All shading removed, black etc left and right.

Remember that the Active Topics worked for about 3 weeks AFTER any mods (or updates to RC2) perfectly. I would suspect something I did if it happened immediately after making some changes.

Just tested it again .. no luck. Maybe I will upgrade to RC3 and see if that helps. Just takes time....
