Hi there. I know this is my first post, but hopefully it is a good question. I am trying to insert my Google Analytics information in the global.tpl.php file, just before the </body> tag, just like the instructions for it on Google's site say to do, but it isn't recognizing that it is there.

Also, when I view the source on the page, the entire part of what I just put in that should be recognized as part of the HTML of the page isn't even there. Is it just me, or is the script designed to not allow outsied javascript?

I'll also note in addition that any other HTML changes that I attempt to make are not showing up either, so that may be part of the problem.

As long as what you put in the templates is valid XHTML, it should be OK. You can also disable XHTML headers in the ACP but this doesn't seem to be the problem. UseBB does not filter any Javascript.

Well, I managed to get the code to work, and it is still valid XHTML 1.0 Strict, so I am no longer worried. Thanks for the reply.

Can you tell me how you accomplished that? Did you simply paste the html into the header? OR elsewhere?

thanks,

You can just paste the Javascript in the header or footer in global.tpl.php or anywhere else if you wish.
