I think that the Admin of the forum should be able to create different esctions of information in the user's information, instead of it just being the simple default, or by modifying code. For example, if the user wants the members to enter the languages they speak, when they register, then the Admin should be able to specify that easily, without having to modify a bunch of code. I know vBulletin does this, and that is a reason a bunch of my friends really like vBulletin over open-source forum systems.
