I'm guessing it will all depend on any bug fixes that need to be implemented in v1.0.x. If there are bug fixes/changes needed in the v1.0 code, then v1.0.2 would probably be released, other then that Dietrich is working on v2.0 now.

1.0.2 will be released as soon as any security issues have been discovered or a fair amount of bugs have been fixed. The changeset in CVS is currently quite limited so there is no need for a new release.
