I just downloaded the latest .tar.bz2 of the UseBB source and I cannot seem to locate the admin directory. Once my initial user was created I attempted to access the admin panel and the requested URL .../admin/index.php could not be found. Did I do something wrong? Thanks in advance.

There isn't an ACP in UseBB yet. It should be created as of version 0.3. In the mean time you will need to have phpMyAdmin or something to create and configure your forums. A short manual about this will follow soon.
