hi there,

in the last time I was generally working with wiki oder cms software.

On day I was working with drupal, I created a forum (which isn't still as good as useBB).
Beneath the forum I had a colum, that shows the categories of this forum.

After some time I found it really cool, its something new!

I've already seen this with SMF: http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?action=forum;theme=13

It might be a nice idea for a template set, but I don't know whether having this by default is a good idea. People are used to having a traditional forum layout. Changing this too much might confuse most people.
