Dejeme Presentarme mi nombre es willy

bueno al encontrar este software me quede maravillado por las facilidades del uso y eso q estaba en ingles pero como tengo una intranet pues muchos usuarios no saben ingles solo español, y le pediria q porfavor haga una actualizacion de su software a español...

I think I can help here. willjce said that he was astonished by the possibilities of this software when he found it, but it's in English. He said that he has an intranet where nobody know a single English word, just Spanish. He asked an update of UseBB to the Spanish language.

I suppose a language file should be enough here. Do we have the Spanish language files?

I'm translating the English file for the front side of the forum using the 1.0.2 version, so when I finish this translation I'll put in here for download in Spanish. I have translated before some old versions and changed the file name into Spanish.php (whatever) and for some reason it doesn't works. So I always use the english name of the file but translated into Spanish and it works.


Estoy traduciendo el archivo del idioma inglés del foro a nivel de usuario usando la versión 1.0.2, de modo que cuando lo temine lo pondré aquí para que lo puedan descargar. Por alguna razon no se porque cuando escribo el nombre de l archivo en Spanish no funciona asi que lo dejo en English aunque está traducido al español y asi funciona bien para mi.

Regreso cuando esté listo.

You must create three files to create a new language option :

admin_Spanish.php
faq_Spanish.php
lang_Spanish.php

If you want just translate one of the three (lang_***.php for example), you can make a copy of faq_English.php and admin_English.php, and rename them both in faq_Spanish.php and admin_Spanish.php.

So, in fine, you will have in the folder languages :

admin_Spanish.php
faq_Spanish.php
lang_Spanish.php

admin_English.php
faq_English.php
lang_English.php

Here is the file a promise, althoug the filename is lang_English.php the file is completelly translated into spanish so the only thing you have to do is replace the old lang_English.php for this one. I understand what calogerogigante says and it is right but this is some kind of help that i want to share with all you.

I have a lot of work and I can't espend all my time translating all files. So if anyone can help with the rest of files (2 more), you are wellcome. By the way, this file belongs to 1.0.2 version, and I hope (if it's possible) that somebody notice me about changes in the language file in a future version of UseBB for avoiding translate the entire file again.

I´ll try to translate the remaining 2 files and post it again here with the correct names, just notice me if you find someting wrong.

Aqui está el archivo de la parte principal del foro traducido al español por completo, lo unico que tienes que hacer es reemplazar el archivo original que se encuentra en la carpeta lang y todo estará listo, espero que sea de ayuda para la comunidad hispana. El archivo es español latinoamericano, asi que espero sus comentarios al respecto si consideran que hay algo mal traducido. La version corresponde a la 1.0.2 de UseBB.
