I read another topic about somebody having problems with his RSS-feed. Unfortunately, there was no solution posted in that topic.. The URL of my UseBb feed is: http://cms.migo-online.nl/forum/rss.xmlAs you can see, I have friendly URL's enabled. Changed nothing to the source code of the forum so it should work out-of-the-box. But when I try to add the URL of my RSS-feed to Google Reader, it keeps saying 'No feed available for http://cms.migo-online.nl/forum/rss.xml'.. Is there something wrong with my feed?

Since your forum is not accessible to guests, the XML feed can't be read by any RSS reader (maybe except Firefox).

Thnx for your quick reply.. So, which option should I change? I just tried to enable the option for guests to see the forum, but the feed is still not readable..

The feed also works with Firefox Sage RSS reader.. So it seems Google Reader is the problem? I have 30 other feeds in Google reader and they all work fine, including the feed from this UseBB Community forum. Opened up a topic in Google Reader's discussion board too, but unfortunately after two days no replies. So it must be some kind of option in the admin panel I guess. I'll keep searching. In the meanwhile, every suggestion to find the cause of this problem is welcome

I have the same problem, though it works with the feed of this forum. As I don't see any errors with the feed validator, I don't know what causes it. Your server also seems to send the right content-type. I guess you should keep trying to contact the Google Reader team.

Not even sure I did it right, normally don't do RSS of any kind, and first time even opening a reader.

William, you did it right.. I see the same. I think I'll do a clean install of UseBB.. That way, all my topics and useraccounts will be preserved , don't they? « Last edit by Migo on Mon Oct 30, 2006 5:12 pm. »

What do you understand with a "clean install"? Reuploading config.php won't help, there's no such "break XML feed" option. If you reinstall the database, everything is ofcourse deleted.

Google Reader has problems with some feeds, for instance it marked one of the feeds of mine read all the time for no reason, but it seems to be fixed. _______________ Long Live Rock n' Roll!
