UseBB Community

i'm writing a php application ,but when i type some japanese or chinese words in the form, then post it in the database, i found these words in database are the same as i typed in the form. I want to change the words i typed in the form into unicode form, then insert into database ,like UseBB does. In UseBB when i input some chinese words in a post , i found it has been changed into the form like "&#xxxxx;&#xxxxx;&#xxxxx;&#xxxxx;". I just want this result.
plz help me, thank you all!

in fact the usebb source code is too complicated for me.
I hope you can understand me. I'm not confident with my english.

UseBB 1 does not support Unicode. In fact, PHP hardly supports Unicode by default at all.
