I know this forum is not for feture request's but I could not find a forum for that and this looked to be the best place.

I've noticed that usebb will close a thread once it reaches 100 replies, this is understandbal because un-controlled that would stress the server alot.

However getting 100 records for a thread can still be a strain, personally I do not like threads to display more then 15 - 20 replies per load, that seems to be the 'magic' number as it is not straining the server much and it keeps the users happy because they are'nt loading alot of pages.

I purpose a paging system be writtin for usebb, that would allow threads to span over multiple pages, and only load x number of replies per page.

This would also be useful elsewhere, forums, memberlist etc.

I relize it is early dev, but I was really curious if this was planned to be developed.

Ah I see you guys don't use the forum for that stuff, missed that thread sorry. I will add this to the tracker, if possible please keep this open for disscussion, but I understand if you feel the need to close it.

It's likely that this will be built in by the release of UseBB 0.3.
