Hi everyone, my name is Rick and I am from the Netherlands. I'm studying information sciences and because I needed a light, small and easy to extend (I want to do some work for my own as well ) I stumbled on UseBB while browsing sourceforge. I like to code, I starded off with HTML and programmed classic ASP for some years. I improved my ASP skills by then by studying the snitz2000 forum software code and I learned a lot from it. For school we need to create a PHP application right now, and therefore I want to improve my PHP skills by diving into and expanding the UseBB code. I like the current code, although I prefere object oriented designs. (I also like to program C++, C# and Java, so there is where I learned to love OO) I would like to contribute to this forum, and therefore I started off with a usergroup mod, since the next release will need some time and I need that function You can find it in the "Resources" forum, at UseBB Zone or at sourceforge. My next mod will probably be a calendarmod, since the website which I am creating this forum for desperately needs a good calendar system. A little about myself: I'm 18 years old, like to make music (drums / guitar / singing) and to hang out with friends! Looking forward to hear from you all, and kudo's to Dietrich and others for the nice forum!

Hey everyone, I'm certainly not a new member, but I figured I'd start posting here again since I am switching my forum over to UseBB (had been using IPB 2.0.0 which was hacked yesterday and I lost most of my 20k posts, 275 members, and around nine months of work). Figured I'd post around a bit on the official community, perhaps submit some mods or something. As for me, I'm a 16 year old webmaster / rap music producer living in the state of South Carolina in the United States of America. Simply said.

Hello I have been using phpBB for a long time . A couple of weeks ago I took down my test board to rebuild it , and decided to play around with some of the other software that's out there . First I tried SMF , the 'S' stands for Sucks . Next I tried MyBB , which is way better than phpBB . Don't get me wrong , phpBB is great software , but MyBB is incredible . And now I am trying UseBB , and I am highly impressed . I held off trying it until now because I thought with it's size , that it would be featureless . I was wrong . I will need several more days of testing it before I can compare it to MyBB .
But as first impressions go , this is great software that I will use many times and try to help it grow .

Hello, my name is Mike, I am a web and forum designer from http://www.audentio.com interested in exploring UseBB a bit more. It seems to be popular enough and I like the way it looks . As far as my life goes, Im in school, I play on my soccer and basketball varsity teams, I like Muse, Liverpool FC, and reading.
