Hi, I just installed my UseBB today and I must say it is a wonderful little piece of software. I have used and worked with quite a few different message board softwares and this has to be one of my favorites. But to my issue - when I go to delete a post or a topic it tells me I do not have permission to access the /edit.php file?

Is there a fix for this?

Check the permissions of the file (via FTP, SSH) so that they are the same as with the other files.

I had the same problem as well, but it was due to my host and how they had mod_security set up.

My host placed this in my .htaccess file, not sure if your host would do the same, you may want to contact them first.

SecFilterInheritance Off
</Files>

Thank you both very much, the lines placed into the .htaccess file did the trick.
