Hi,

I just set up my forum using UseBB and the mod for uploading avatars. I set the maximum avatar size at 120x120. But, when people load pictures larger than the 120, the avatars inflate to their original sizes for a moment before shrinking back to the 120.

For people with, say, dial up, this causes a super slow load time.

Two of the forum members are using the same avatars they used when I had an SMF forum and the avatars never inflated. How can I correct this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Forget this question. I've decided to use another forum script.

Maybe the author of the avatar-upload-mod can add a feature that uploaded pics are being resized on upload.

I'm not a PHP-guy, but the GD library can do this. Wouldn't be so hard to acomplish I think.

For the avatars that aren't uploaded, and therefor never resized, are still having the same issue.

Didn't really post this as a reply, but sort of a feature-add for the mod

The TopicStarter does have a point though.

Since this is a mod question, moving to Resources.
