Hello.

I get this error code on my main page

In file sources/db_mysql.php on line 87:

E_WARNING - mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

And also problems when trying to access the install file.
i AM using the right path to it.
but i get a Error 500: Script Execution Failure from my hosts side. (iv sent them an e-mail)

Any ideas / help?

Thanks.

These are problems related to your host... please contact them for assistance.

It can't be the host... it's the only software that has given me this much troubles... (And I really would LOVE to use it!)

It must be the host and the environment they are running. It can't connect to mysql. You will want to double check your database info and perhaps request the correct mysql host from your hosting provider.

You are not even the original poster of this topic. :)

It's obviously a problem with connecting to MySQL... has nothing to do with UseBB.

I tried already to use the proper details. I even tried to install it manually... nothing.

Reading your previous posts, you seem to have already gone past the installation process. If there are any other problems, please post them in a new topic, giving the error messages if present. Please don't post in other people's topics.
