How lightweight is UseBB?

I ask because I have used:
-IPB 1.3 hosts and the 2.3.1 demo (Not bad, but not my thing)
-MyBB 1.4 (Was a beta tester - TOO MANY image marcos!)
-XMB (It was OK, but I think UseBB has more potential).

And I have made themes for IPB, and MyBB.
But UseBB looks as if it does have that many custom images.
I mean yeah, I can make buttons, bars, and many other forum images....But to be honest, it's quite a pain!

Plus, I agree with UseBB being pure.

UseBB doesn't really have many images. Most of it is CSS. The outer layout and shadows are images, but you can just completely remove all those when you're building a custom theme.

Sweet! To be honest, I'm no good at pixel images.
And I just want a forum software that is easy to theme!
Thanks! :D

Yea, UseBB is quite easy to theme for, more so if you're doing it from scratch. Maybe not so easy if you are going off the base theme. Unless you're really good with graphics, which i'm not either lol.
