UseBB Community

Everytime i install UseBB 1.0.9 via my FTP (FileZilla) in Binary and ASCII just to see what it says, i get a Error 500: Script Execution Failure both times.

I even tried installing 1.0.8 just to see if it was a problem with the version or if something got corrupted upon download.
Im just wondering if any one else has experianced these problems?

I have previously installed 1.0.9 on a different domain using the same hosting provider and it worked 100% fine, so i dont have a clue what can be going wrong?

The only thing i can think of is my domain name is CHMOD 777, everytime i try and change it to 755, it doesnt keep and reverts back to 777, if this is the problem, let me know and il get in contact with my hosting provider about their problem.

EDIT: i managed to get them to CHMOD it to 755, i try to install 1.0.9 again and FAIL, same error.. what is up?

that must be your hosting problem. seems your hosting system should be Windows(all CHMOD777) and IIS webserver .
