I am a big time "newbie" and I was wondering if someone could lead me to help screens on customizing this great product.

My first question (of probable many):

My pages seem to be flickering when I switch between menu items. I have added a bg photo etc. But I seem to be missing the main bg page to add the phot, so you do not see the flickering.

It's not that it's flickering, it's that the page height changes so your image overlaps/doesn't overlap depending on the height of the page. You'd need to set your background image as fixed or find an image that you can set to repeat.
