UseBB Community

I read in the main contents of usebb that you can modify and distribute Usebb freely. Does this mean that I can mod it to the end and pretty much make a whole new software and call it my own even know it looks nothing like usebb but its been used as a base?

If you fork it, you should give credit to UseBB..

If you want to call something your own, then create it your self...

What harm would it do to you if the *.php files have the comment that it's based on UseBB? It's not like you need to put that in the HTML for the people to see..

UseBB is Open Source software released under the GPL 2. All conditions concerning using, modifying etc can be found in the GPL text. Thus, if you would like to fork UseBB, please make sure you understand all of the GPL's terms.
