How would I use the TortoiseCVS software to get the latest from the repository without having to wait for the Nightly Tarballs ? I tried following the advice given in the docManager but it hasn't come to anything more than a couple of error messages ( on the tortoisecvs part). has anyone had any success with this software? I'd appreciate any help on this as cvs has been an unknown land for me since I heard about it..

I followed the instructions and read through the relevant documents. although i can't seem to get anywhere..
Here is a feedback from TortoiseCVS that might interest you.

Module list not available for server cvs.sourceforge.net.

Ask your administrator to either install a web browser interface on the server (CVSweb or ViewCVS) or add the modules to the CVSROOT/modules file.

Meanwhile you'll have to find the module name elsewhere.

as far as I know the module name is 'UseBB',... but I looked inside the CVSROOT/modules file and didn't come across that name anywhere in it .. shouldn't ( both UseBB and UseBook) be listed in there ?

Doesn't have to. The module is called UseBB so you don't have to get a list of modules to find out how they are named.
