When you visit a new topic/post from the Active Topics ( providing that there are no new topics/post in the specific forum) the image for new topics/posts on the index.php isn't getting updated to the no new topics/posts image,.. so it looks like that you haven't visited the forums news but you have really had ...
( i hope i didn't make a mess out of trying to explain. Whether it be so on 50% of forum engines or not, it is correct that the indicator is not updated.
Be it a bug or just something not yet foreseen, it would be nice when this could be cured one day. I didn't quite follow Herodes until I remarked it myself this morning, going thru all new topic from the active list. When returning to HOME, all new post indicator where still yellow. |

On the other hand, when visiting from the home page, and returning, the indicator changes to blue, even if there is still a post unread. Now this should also be reviewed (in future) as it is incorrect. The active topic list is updates as it should, as far as I remarked.

In fact the system works, if something (is it a forum or topic) contains new items, the indicator will be yellow until you viewed the forum or topic. If you viewed the unread topics in a forum without viewing the forum itself, the indicator will still be yellow. Maybe a phpBB-alike system will be better, which really always displays the right indicator.

Added to 0.5-CVS. The system now acts the same like phpBB does (i.e. everything is displayed right).
