Is the front page a non-public code or will it be available sometimes?

Hmm and why are sites like http://www.usebb.net/community/post-forum5.html here in my browser? :S

The website is not open source and it will probably never be unless we would write our own CVS and develop it as Open Source software.

And it should be better for search engines to spider them.

Although it has the disadvantage that no session ID's are passed in the URL when friendly URL's are enabled. So you'll need to accept cookies to stay logged in.

So basically a workaround for rewriting? I love it. :D And most CMSs, portals etc. require cookies. ;)

I know, but can be dangerous. Just uploaded a site to a free host and it kept giving error 500. It took many time to investigate that its caused by *.htaccess (in good ftp servers its forbidden. :P).

Sure rewriting is required for .html URL's in UseBB. How would it work otherwise?

But... please stay on-topic. This thread is about the website, and in the Chit Chat forum, not a place to complain about UseBB.

Creating a news page generation system would be very easy. Perhaps I'll look into this after v1.0... heck I might even just get bored and do it sooner.
