Yesterday and today some changes have happened to the UseBB Team.

To start with, Jemo and wehnerj have been removed from the team. Jemo used to be the graphic designer for the project, but is, due to unknown reasons, inactive for a fair amount of time. wehnerj was added to the team several months ago with the intention to act as a co-developer, but is also inactive for a large time. I have tried to contact them both some time ago but got no response back. In order to keep the list of project members accurate both of them have now been removed.

Of course, I regret this situation. It is not my intention to remove any team member who, for personal reasons, cannot cooperate in the project for some time. But in this case it seemed the best to remove them as I haven't heard anything from them for a long time and got no response to e-mail messages.

Also note there is currently one remaining developer for the entire project. At this moment no developers will be assigned, but probably will in a few months when UseBB 1.0 is released and work will start on UseBB 2.0.

Second, Kidkiller, developer of UseBook, was also removed from the team because the UseBook project has officially been split from the UseBB project. Although, he stays present at the forum as the moderator for the UseBook forum at the UseBB community forums. UseBook now maintains his own list of team members, available here: http://sourceforge.net/project/memberlist.php?group_id=139968. For more information, see the previous UseBook announcement.

Last but not least, The Wolf was assigned as the new graphic designer for the project, currently working on several design aspects of the project, including the logo and new design for UseBB 2.0. Welcome in the team, Rowan. We hope this change will lead to an even better looking product in the future. ;)

For more info about UseBB 2.0, see http://www.usebb.net/community/topic-427.html.

I look forward to tracking the progress of this software. Perhaps I can lend a hand in the features to come. Good luck, and Viva la UseBB!

How long ago was the project started?? I am following closely I am very interested in this project. One day I hope to help with developement but. I dont ask to be assigned until a spot is open. Congrats Wolf, I cant wait to see your work. Right now I think that UseBB is a very clean professional looking board. One of the most efficent scripts I have used in a long time.

I once wrote the complete history here: http://www.usebb.net/community/topic-282.html

This project was not started in just a day but is based on ideas going on for a long time in my head. :) It didn't just say "let's build a bulletin board". ;)

The project was started in October 2003 but I only started scripting in February 2004. Development has been slow in 2004 though.
