These rules are needed to keep our community clean. Please read them carefully before making your first post.

We can't accept any of the following:

- content illegal by law, unlicensed software, etc including links to these;
- adult content, racism, flaming, and other offensive content;
- advertising, spamming, etc in any form.

Additionally, please...

- search before you post a question, many questions have been asked before;
- post your topic in the most appropriate forum;
- if you have multiple questions to ask, post separate topics;
- do not crosspost your topics;
- read any custom rules posted in a sticky topic;
- use a meaningful topic title (no "help", "I have a question", etc);
- limit the use of BBCode and smilies in your posts;
- don't use unneeded capitalization in your posts.

Use of images on the forum

Unlike many forums on the net, we try to limit the use of large and/or animated images in posts, signatures or profiles. Please...

- link instead of using img-tags for big images;
- don't use many or big images in your signature;
- please do not use animated avatars.

Topic replies

Please try to stay on-topic, or post a new topic in the right forum. Meaningless replies are not needed and trigger unnecessary topic updates via RSS or subscription.

Important notes

Messages can and often will be edited upon rule breaking. A personal email may be sent when necessary. Accounts do get banned or removed as well.

Spam results in the posts and user account being removed. You also risk your email address or domain and IP address to be banned on usebb.net. Moreover, your account information may be submitted to public spammer databases such as Stop Forum Spam. Next to spam posts, profile spam is also discovered and removed.

Measures may be taken to avoid new users to add personal URLs or links to profile pages. Mostly, this functionality becomes available as accounts have been actively used for a longer period of time.

It is not allowed to register accounts using temporary email addresses. Some of these domain names are blocked. If you are discovered having registered using such an email address, your account might get removed.

Never activated accounts are being removed after a while -- usually after two to three months.
