There have been quite some bugs found in UseBB's latest release (0.2). An overview of the bugs can be found here. I recommend people running a UseBB 0.2 board to download the latest CVS snapshot by following the instructions here, especially when you plan to make mods for UseBB. Or you can wait till UseBB 0.3 to set up a new forum.

But after all, I still do not recommend to set up a public forum using UseBB 0.x, as it is still beta software and there are certainly more still unknown bugs or even security issues that might things go not as expected.
