For all of you following the project closely, here is an Intermediate Update about UseBB.

- Many people ask me when UseBB 0.6 will be released. I hoped it would be released in July, but I haven't got the time to complete everything planned for that release. At this time it is nearing completion and I hope it to be released this or next week. For more info about 0.6, see here.

- In the mean time, I reopened the IRC channel for the project. It can be found at irc.freenode.net (#usebb). Note this is not a real support channel but only for development. Feel free to pass by.

- With the cooperation of Axel Widegren, UseBB now also has a Swedish support forum. This makes the number of localized support forums at usebb.net to 5. A Swedish translation is also in the works.

- Someone discovered that UseBB 0.5.1a is having problems with parsing bare URL's (without BBCode tags around them). Also, on PHP 5.1 or 4.4 the forum itself might show unexpected errors. These are known problems from which 0.6 does not suffer. If you want to start a new UseBB powered board on PHP 5 or 4.4, consider waiting until 0.6 is released.
