You may have noticed there is a slight unusual splash page at http://www.usebb.net, warning you about a "patent minefield" at the website. I've put this page online to protest against the activation of software patents in Europe which will take away freedom and innovation in the Open Source world, and I encourage everyone to do the same.

Because those software patents can avoid further development and distribution of UseBB, this is something I just had to do...
