i know that there is the administrator, guest, moderator, and member groups and i read the documentation on how to set a member as a moderator. I just have a couple questions.
1. Is there a simple way (perhaps in a language file?) that i can change the global text of "Moderator" to something else?
2. Is there any way to add another group that has moderator privilages but is named something else? So, having 2 moderator groups but each one called something different? (they would both go under the group "Moderator" for permissions).
Thanks.

You can always alter the language files to change the "moderator" name, but you can't add user groups. No user groups exist at UseBB, only 4 levels (admin, mod, member and guest).

Hmm is there anyway to manually add a group or would that require to many PHP edits? I found 3 files that would require editing but those were only the base defining variables. In common.php, language file, and members.php for listing. I'm no guru in PHP though lol. Would it just require php edits or mysql edits aswell?

I didn't notice this before becuase it was no where to be edited but you do have ranks so those should work well enough Thanks. « Last edit by Gaia on Sun Oct 09, 2005 5:16 am. »
