When somebody is lazy to open a thread, his post (and some or all followups) can be put in a new thread that the admin/mod creates. Can we expect something like this in UseBB?

The way it is in SMF is good. Man, UseBB 2.0 will rock (and won't be that lightwight anymore, maybe it'll have a mod system?)

it would be also great to have possibilty to merge topics, i.e. move posts between topics.

UseBB 2 will still be lightweight though, but will have a few more moderation possibilities.

XMB has bunch of great moderation possbilities that are worth of closer look, e.g. top/split/merge/bump/empty/prune thread etc.

check them here http://www.opensourcecms.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=183

I know XMB ;)

UseBB 2 will have more and better moderation tools, UseBB 1 is a bit too limited in this. Especially concerning topic splitting/merging.
