I'm looking into finding a way of getting funds to pay the hosting costs of the project.
There are two possible ways:
- Setting up Google Adsense.
- Setting up a donation system (via Paypal).
Or both ofcourse. In both cases the earnings are directed to myself and used to pay the costs of the hosting. If anything remains, it may be used to promote UseBB (I'm thinking of paid listings at Hotscripts etc.) or donated to SourceForge.net.
What do you think? I don't know whether Adsense banners will bother people, but it will generate more money than a donation system I think.

Paypal donation would be cool. Though I think i would click the google banners more as money from that doesn't have to come from my pocket :p

I say do both. As for adsense bothering people... I don't think it would, adsense never bothered me, unless you make it lime green or some color that really sticks out.
