The UseBB Team is happy to announce version 0.8 of the light and Open Source PHP/MySQL bulletin board package "UseBB". Version 0.8 is a major feature enhancements release. Changes include but are not limited to: - new admin activation possibility; - register, activate and delete controls in ACP; - forum pruning including moving/deleting and exclusion of sticky topics; - many bug fixes and improvements throughout the whole system. 0.8 is probably the last 0.x release, the next one being a release candidate of 1.0. Upgrading is, as always, recommended. Visit http://www.usebb.net/downloads/ for downloads. Information about upgrading is available in the docs/UPGRADE document.

Congratulations! But I think that the docs/UPGRADE document hasn't been updated since the previous release... Anything beyond just replacing the old files with the new ones?

Forgot... but there is nothing else to update but the files.

Works great. I just had a problem that resulted from my own localization files: I jut copied to the 'languages' directory my localization files from version 0.7 and deleted the new English&Dutch files, which resulted in errors whenever UseBB tried to access one of the keys that are new to 0.8. Comparing the English localization files of the old and new versions, and adding the new strings to my own localization solved the problem, of course. So to save others from repeating my mistake: if you use your own localization files, pay attention to changes to the English strings!
