we translate usebb to turkish language
can we edit copyright and name of usebb?

can we give the scripts turkish with xbb we change name to xbb we deleted copyright is it true can we publish it ?

UseBB is completely licensed under the GPL. The license states what you can do (and must do if you modify and redistribute).

Basically, you can modify and redistribute but only again under the terms of the GPL, stating what you have modified to the code. You cannot take UseBB's code, modify it and release it as/for a commercial or freeware (non Open Source) product.

we remove your copyright in all .php files and we remove copyright in all everywhere but we dont get money with this script we only release it we dont have any copyrights etc.

As far as I know about GPL 2, you must retain the copyright or in any case make it so that it still states the UseBB Team/Project. The GPL states:

An appropriate copyright notice would be one that states who has the actual copyright, which in most of the code's case is this project's contributors.

And you must state which changes you made and what time. This may be hard, but can as far as I know be done by making a version control system (such as SVN) and its history publicly viewable.

I agree the GPL can be difficult to understand, but you will have to in order to alter and distribute UseBB.

So to make clear, you cannot remove all copyrights, or redistribute this under a license other than or not compatible with GPL 2.

ok can we create official turkish usebb web site ? not fan website we have hosting domain etc.

i bought usebb.tk domain why .tk it is turkish domain ..
if you say yes i buy host and create official turkish usebb page

There is no problem creating related websites etc, as long as any modifications and redistributions of UseBB comply with the GPL.

The project itself does not manage or host those websites though.

For now no links are added. We might consider this in the future.

or you can forgot it we doing some scripts our community forums when get 100 members add link to usebb.net ok?

The website is not Open Source. Also, as said no links are added to usebb.net for now.
