I've Topics, which should not be read by guests.
Is there a way to hide them in the same way i can do with forums?

You can stop guests from reading topics, it prompts guests to login, or register.
Admin >> Manage forums >> choose a forum >> select "members" in drop down for read topics |

Then i would lock all topics of a forum for guests.
But i want to lock only few topics (not all) of a forum for guests. |

I created a modification for this. It's pretty basic but does what is requested. I'll post it up in a few once I do up the instructions.

If a newer version of UseBB 1.0.x code base is released, and one of the updated files is one of the files you edited for this modification, then you will need to re-do the edits after you upgrade in order for you to keep the modification working correctly.

I don't think it will be available in any of the 1.0.x codebase, not sure about 2.0 though, but I don't think it is planned.

I don't comment on this yet, there are about a hundred of requests in this forum, as mentioned on the roadmap these may only be implemented in 2.0 or later versions, 1.0 is closed to new features.

That's possible with most boards; IPB; vBulletin; and so on. Samuel posted a mod which adds this functionality to UseBB as well. But here we are talking about the option to hide specific topics from guests, not some content inside topics. |
